Whimsical Estate Wedding

Jarrett anxiously awaited Beth upstairs at The Estate on Second while she buttoned up her lace and tulle wedding gown downstairs in the bridal suite. The clicking of her heels could be heard all the way up the stairs as she made her way to her groom, her veil trailing behind her. With a tap on the shoulder, Jarrett turned around and smiled as he saw Beth for the first time that day. The two shared a warm embrace and sweet compliments before the rest of their wedding party joined them after watching from a distance. Family and group photos were taken in the Attic as guests arrived in the Crystal Ballroom just downstairs.

Purple, peach, blue and yellow flowers climbed up a metal arch in front of the center Palladian window inside the Crystal Ballroom and two floral arrangements marked the start of the aisle where the bride and groom would soon be walking. Guests entered through the Veranda and took a seat, then the wedding party made their entrances ending with the bride, Beth. Vows and rings were exchanged and everyone stood as the newlyweds shared a kiss and exited their ceremony after being pronounced husband and wife.

Everyone snacked on Blackened Deviled Eggs, Crab Cakes, and Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites during cocktail hour and the bar was serving up the bride and groom’s signature cocktails: A Paloma and Old Fashioned. Beth and Jarrett snuck away from the crowd just for a few minutes to soak in all their newlywed bliss and snap a few photos together before rejoining their guests just in time for dinner. Everyone stopped by the seating chart and found their way back to the Crystal Ballroom.

Whimsical table settings including floral plates, custom menus, and colorful candlesticks  added a vibrance to the white linens they sat upon. Wildflower floral arrangements were scattered atop the center of each table and matched the table number signs. Once everyone had found their seat, the bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at the sweetheart table. Friends and family toasted to the newlyweds filling the room with laughter and happy tears, then dinner was served. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Macaroni and Cheese, Green Beans, BBQ Chopped Salad, and Corned Bread Muffins with Honey Butter were on the menu that was selected by Beth and Jarrett with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra, during the couple’s planning process. When dinner was almost done, all the single ladies got called out to the dance floor. Beth tossed her baby’s breath bouquet and a hopeful friend caught it. Next, the bride and groom cut into their 3-tiered white cake with raspberry creme filling. Guests were able to indulge in cake and an assortment of sweets from our Gourmet Dessert Station including Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. Once everyone had filled up on sweets, the evening ended out on the dance floor.
